Role summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Quality Assurance Officer for their Brisbane facility to review and approve validation documents, conduct deviation investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Tertiary qualification in biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, pharmacology, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in GMP-regulated settings
At least 1 year quality assurance experience in GMP-regulated environment preferred
Knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMP quality systems and international regulations
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

What you'll be doing

Review and approve equipment and process validation documents including protocols and cleaning validation
Participate actively in deviation investigations and approve associated quality records
Review and endorse quality management system controlled documents
Support compliance with established timeframes for change control, deviation response, and corrective action processing
Identify continual improvement opportunities and participate in risk assessments
