Role summary
Leadership position in translational medicine focused on cardiovascular therapeutic development. Responsible for early clinical strategy from preclinical approval through Phase 2 proof-of-concept, including biomarker development and clinical pharmacology studies in collaboration with discovery and clinical research teams.

What you'll be doing
- Lead early clinical development strategy design and execution for novel cardiovascular therapy programs
- Develop and execute biomarker strategies and experimental medicine studies from first-in-human through proof-of-concept phases
- Design clinical pharmacology studies and strategies supporting development phases one through four
- Provide clinical expertise for target identification and validation through preclinical and clinical experiments
- Coordinate Phase 1 study execution and communicate results to governance committees and functional experts
