Role summary
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for their Fort Worth facility to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient service. The role operates Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–12pm, with potential weekend hours. Eligible employees receive comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
What they're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or equivalent clinical training
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- One or more years phlebotomy experience in clinical or hospital setting (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and under minimal supervision
What you'll be doing
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as required
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
