Role summary
Patient Access Liaison supporting patients and healthcare providers in navigating insurance coverage, prior authorization, and reimbursement for Amgen therapies. This field-based role addresses access barriers and educates stakeholders on financial assistance programs and coverage pathways.

- Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2+ years patient services/access experience
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years patient services/access experience, or equivalent
- Knowledge of insurance benefits, prior authorization, and reimbursement processes
- Experience with infused or specialty pharmaceutical therapies preferred
- Clinical background such as nursing or allied health preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
What you'll be doing
- Assist patients and providers navigating insurance benefits and prior authorization requirements
- Identify and resolve access barriers including coverage denials and claim issues
- Educate physicians, infusion centers, and patients on therapy coverage and reimbursement pathways
- Develop relationships with patients and caregivers through phone, virtual, and in-person engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams including Market Access and Case Management on access initiatives
