Role summary

- Texas Licensed/Certified EMT-Paramedic credential
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 4 years paramedic experience, including 3 years on ALS unit or clinical setting
- Proficiency in airway management, phlebotomy, IV establishment, and injections
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and emergency situations under stress
What you'll be doing
- Provide basic and advanced medical care to study subjects; direct resuscitation in life-threatening situations
- Monitor adverse events daily, assess safety, and deliver reports to physicians
- Act as primary safety contact for all study subjects; monitor cardiac telemetry for arrhythmias
- Perform technical procedures including blood collection, vital signs, ECGs, and study drug dosing
- Assess out-of-range lab values and medically intervene when subject safety is questioned
