What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain cost models including clean-sheet and should-cost analysis for mechanical components
- Conduct detailed cost breakdowns and identify cost drivers to support sourcing negotiations
- Engage suppliers to review cost structures and drive value engineering opportunities
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance on cost reduction initiatives
- Support product costing and contribute to long-term cost reduction roadmap for assigned categories
