Role summary

Manufacturing Planner II will develop supply plans to meet demand requirements across manufacturing and procurement teams in a Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing Division. The role involves ERP systems management, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer fulfillment while controlling working capital costs. Hybrid position based in Frederick, Maryland.

What they're looking for

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's or associate degree preferred
  • 3 years supply chain/planning experience with degree, or 4 years without degree
  • 3 years experience in regulated cGMP manufacturing (pharma/biotech/life sciences preferred)
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE E1 preferred)
  • Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, master production scheduling, and material requirements planning
  • Analytical mindset with action orientation and ability to work independently

What you'll be doing

  • Build short-term and long-term production plans to fulfill demand and revenue targets
  • Implement and maintain supply planning processes across regions, business units, and product groups
  • Collaborate with procurement, marketing, sales, finance, and operations on supply chain decisions
  • Monitor inventory entitlement for assigned SKUs to minimize expired, excess, and obsolete inventory
  • Identify capacity constraints and coordinate resolution between planning and manufacturing teams across sites
Compensation$66,000–$95,000 base
