Role summary
Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead compliant commercial CAR-T production in an aseptic cGMP environment. The role oversees manufacturing personnel, ensures procedure adherence and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement across operations, safety, and performance. Night shift position (Sunday–Wednesday, 5 p.m.–5:30 a.m.) based in Summit West, NJ.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, biotechnology, or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Regulated cGMP manufacturing background, preferably biologics, cell therapy, or aseptic processing
- Demonstrated understanding of batch records, deviation management, change control, and data integrity
- Strong people management and cross-functional partnership skills
- Managerial leadership experience in CAR-T, cell therapy, or aseptic manufacturing (preferred)
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools knowledge (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Lead compliant CAR-T manufacturing operations in accordance with cGMP requirements and approved procedures
- Provide technical guidance, training, and real-time operational support to manufacturing teams
- Maintain process qualification and oversee batch record review, documentation, and data integrity
- Manage workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, hiring, performance management, and employee development
- Drive continuous improvement through deviation management, root cause analysis, CAPAs, and Lean methodologies
