Role summary

Supply chain manager responsible for end-to-end SCM operations at Thermo Fisher's Japan division, including vendor management, import logistics, inventory control, and customer delivery. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Office 365 applications
Ability to self-manage priorities and work autonomously in remote environments

What you'll be doing

Oversee order, receipt, production, and shipping processes; manage ERP system stability across supply chain workflow
Collaborate with suppliers, 3PL providers, and external vendors to maximize efficiency and negotiate cost reductions
Develop and manage demand forecasting plans aligned with annual operating plans and market requirements
Design and implement inventory management processes to minimize obsolete stock and maintain target stock levels
Monitor OTIF metrics, manage backorders, and coordinate problem resolution across departments during supply chain disruptions
