Role summary
Lead the design, development, and sustainment of cascade refrigeration systems for ultra-low temperature storage products. This hands-on management role oversees refrigeration engineers and technicians while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient cooling solutions that meet regulatory and customer requirements.

- 5+ years leading teams in refrigeration or thermal system design and evaluation
- 3+ years developing vapor-compression systems for cold storage or HVAC/R products
- Experience with natural and low global warming potential refrigerants
- Expertise in thermal modeling, simulation, and performance testing
- Background supporting regulated medical or scientific products (UL, ISO, FDA standards)
- Proficiency analyzing empirical test data and automated testing systems
What you'll be doing
- Lead global refrigeration engineering organization designing cascade systems for ULT freezers and cold storage platforms
- Own refrigeration system architecture, strategy, and modular design across multiple product platforms
- Direct thermal modeling and design trade studies to optimize system performance and energy efficiency
- Ensure refrigeration designs meet regulatory requirements and industry certifications throughout product lifecycle
- Develop budgets, resource plans, coach engineers, and foster safety and continuous improvement culture
