Role summary
ICON seeks a Manager, Commercial Finance to support its Global Commercial Finance team in Dublin on a hybrid basis. The role involves negotiating enterprise-level commercial terms with strategic clients, supporting proposals, and managing high-profile contract negotiations to optimize financial and operational performance.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline
- 6+ years commercial finance experience at management level, preferably in services
- People management experience with proven ability to influence team development
- Negotiation experience from the seller side
- Conflict resolution capability and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong MS Excel proficiency and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Qualified Accountant credential (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent relevant experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Negotiate and construct enterprise-level commercial terms with strategic alliance clients
- Provide commercial analysis and support to Proposals team for client submissions
- Lead high-profile and contentious contract negotiations during service delivery
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Business Development teams on pricing analysis and deal structuring
- Maintain pricing tools integrity and support continuous process improvement initiatives
