Role summary
ResMed seeks a Lead User Researcher to direct research strategy for its hardware portfolio, including masks, devices, and connected experiences. Over six months, you will conduct end-to-end research activities and translate user insights into product recommendations across a hybrid Sydney-based role.

- Strong qualitative and mixed-method research expertise with in-person study experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage research projects from planning through delivery

- Collaboration experience across UX, design, or human-centered research domains
- Minimum two days per week on-site in Bella Vista; international travel availability

- Lead end-to-end research strategy across hardware and connected-experience programs
- Design, conduct, and oversee research activities from discovery through concept evaluation
- Translate research findings into evidence-based recommendations for product and design decisions
- Communicate insights through storytelling to build user empathy across the organization
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to embed user understanding into development
