Role summary

Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Security at Danaher designs and implements operational technology network security improvements across manufacturing sites. 10+ years OT/ICS security engineering or industrial network engineering experience
Hands-on experience designing and implementing OT network segmentation in live industrial environments
Demonstrated ability to lead OT network change projects in production-sensitive environments without causing unplanned downtime
Deep familiarity with OT/ICS components (PLCs, DCS, SCADA, HMI) and protocols (Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC-UA, BACnet)
Working knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and ISA-99 standards applied to network segmentation
Experience with industrial firewall configuration (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or equivalent)
Experience managing concurrent projects across multiple operating companies or plant locations

What you'll be doing

Serve as senior OT security technical resource and primary engineering point of contact for platform operating companies
Translate enterprise OT architecture blueprints into network-executable engineering designs including firewall policy and DMZ architecture
Partner with site engineers during change window execution to ensure segmentation implementation without disrupting production operations
Contribute to deployment of OT remote access controls, replacing legacy VPN and consumer-grade remote tools with approved alternatives
Build engineering knowledge base documenting site-specific architecture decisions, implementation playbooks, and as-built network diagrams
