Role summary
Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support the Intellectual Property group within its Legal Department. The role involves legal research, contract drafting, and collaboration with attorneys on IP-related matters during a 10–12 week summer internship.

- Ability to commit to full-time 10–12 consecutive week internship May–August
- Willing to work hybrid at Foster City, California location; relocation may be required
- JD degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
What you'll be doing
- Support IP group with clearance work, patent applications, prosecution, and dispute matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis; draft memos and recommendations on IP-related issues
- Draft and review contracts; assist with due diligence and contractual IP provisions
- Attend client meetings and provide legal support under attorney supervision
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal team and business partners on key projects
Compensation$20.00 - $55.00 hourly
