Role summary

Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support the Connect Learning & Development team in coordinating learning projects, reviewing course content, and developing educational materials. This 10-12 week summer internship offers exposure to instructional design, learning management systems, and professional development opportunities within a innovative biopharmaceutical organization.

What they're looking for

Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD or PhD program at accredited U.S. university
Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
At least 18 years old; independently authorized to work in United States
Ability to commit to 10-12 consecutive weeks May-August; able to work on-site hybrid (Foster City)
Preferred: Business Administration, Project Management, or Learning & Development major
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and manage learning projects including meetings and resource gathering with stakeholders
Review new courses in development to identify errors and improvement opportunities
Develop quick reference guides and job aids for learning offerings
Support LMS Administrator with My Learning Portal projects and monthly course reviews
Present final project work via PowerPoint presentation at internship conclusion

Compensation$20.00 - $55.00 hourly; benefits include paid holidays, sick time, housing stipends for eligible employees
