Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Installation Engineer III to install and commission sophisticated electron microscopy systems at customer sites across the remote US. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and service procedures
Experience diagnosing ultra-high vacuum and high-voltage systems strongly preferred
Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in cleanroom environments with PPE requirements

What you'll be doing

Install sophisticated electron microscopy systems on-site following established procedures and verify proper functioning
Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation and early system use
Partner with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth installation experiences
Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair support for customers and field personnel
Train customers on system operation, maintenance expectations, and best practices
