Role summary
Amgen seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Pittsburgh and surrounding Pennsylvania/West Virginia region to support the Bone Health business unit. - Proven presentation, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with insurance verification, claims adjudication, and billing/coding/appeals processes
- Healthcare industry experience with commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Residency in or within 10 miles of the assigned geographic region; valid driver's license
What you'll be doing
- Manage patient access and reimbursement across defined accounts in geographic territory
- Provide one-on-one field support from physician order through prior authorization and appeals
- Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage, formulary criteria, and reimbursement procedures
- Resolve patient-specific reimbursement and coverage issues through collaboration with internal hub and partners
- Communicate payer changes and coverage updates to key stakeholders and healthcare offices
