Role summary

GE HealthCare seeks an Electronics Technician to support product development and manufacturing of surgical imaging systems in Salt Lake City. The role involves testing assemblies, performing electrical calibration, troubleshooting, and documenting results on first shift (6:15 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

What they're looking for

Associate degree in Electronics or Engineering, or technical certificate with 25+ electronics credit hours, or high school diploma with 2 years electronics experience
Proficiency troubleshooting at subsystem and system levels using systematic problem-solving techniques
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data and assist with design or process corrections
Proficiency with Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and Power Supplies
Ability to interpret circuit board schematics and system interconnect diagrams
Physical capability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand/sit continuously, and perform frequent bending, grasping, and reaching

What you'll be doing

Test production and refurbished assemblies for correct operation and specification compliance
Perform electrical calibration on systems and subassemblies
Troubleshoot to identify root causes and conduct diagnostic tests as needed
Document test results and communicate findings using technical documentation
Participate in LEAN improvement activities and daily 5S practices
