Role summary
Pfizer seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer for its Singapore manufacturing facility to ensure regulatory compliance, implement safety programs, conduct audits and risk assessments, and promote a proactive safety culture across operations.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in any field, or Associate's degree with 4+ years experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years experience
- Industrial Safety experience in manufacturing facility environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Capability to deliver Environmental Health and Safety training
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and control recommendations (preferred)
- Problem-solving skills and collaborative teamwork ability (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, permits, licenses, and company policies
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments, and hazard evaluations to identify control needs
- Support incident investigations and track corrective and preventive actions to closure
- Manage EHS documentation, permits, training records, and emergency response plans
- Coordinate with contractors, waste service providers, and regulatory agencies on safety and environmental activities
