Role summary

Nurix seeks a Director of Total Rewards to develop and oversee compensation, benefits, and equity programs for the organization. This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and involves designing market-competitive programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering across leadership to execute total rewards strategy.

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification (CCP, CBP, CEBS) preferred
8-10+ years progressive experience in compensation and benefits with 3-5 years in total rewards leadership
Biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences company experience strongly preferred
Deep knowledge of equity structures including RSUs, ISOs, NSOs, and ESPP programs
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into clear insights
Excellent judgment handling sensitive compensation and personnel data
Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels including Board

What you'll be doing

Design and administer base pay, incentive, equity, and executive compensation programs company-wide
Conduct market benchmarking, job leveling, and pay equity analyses to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices
Manage benefits portfolio including health, retirement, leave, and wellness programs; lead vendor negotiations and renewals
Partner with Finance on compensation budgeting and forecasting; coordinate with Legal on equity administration and compliance
Develop and deliver employee and manager communications and training on total rewards programs
