Role summary
Amgen seeks an experienced finance director to lead G&A and technology finance operations in India. The role combines team leadership of corporate finance functions with strategic partnership on operating-expense planning, forecasting, and technology project controls.
What they're looking for
- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, CPA, or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration
- 18+ years progressive experience in FP&A, G&A Finance, or Technology Finance
- Demonstrated people-management experience including hiring and team development
- Hands-on experience with Anaplan or comparable enterprise planning platforms
- Experience supporting technology organizations and managing technology project controls
- Strong analytical skills translating financial data into business recommendations
- Advanced Excel and presentation capabilities with ERP or BI tool familiarity
What you'll be doing
- Lead, develop, and coach India-based G&A Finance team with clear priorities and accountability
- Partner with business leaders on annual planning, rolling forecasts, reporting, and variance analysis
- Oversee Anaplan model administration and support planning-cycle execution
- Lead Technology Project Controls team providing financial governance across technology programs
- Improve finance processes through automation, standardized templates, and stronger controls
