Role summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an experienced Commercial Project Manager III to lead end-to-end clinical trial delivery for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. The role requires managing complex, multi-site studies from initiation through close-out while serving as primary client contact and ensuring regulatory compliance in a matrix environment.

- High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in life sciences or project management preferred
- 3+ years of project management experience supporting clinical studies
- Demonstrated experience managing global or multi-site clinical trials with budgets of $500K+
- Strong working knowledge of GCP, FDA, ICH guidelines, and clinical trial processes (Phase I–IV)
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in regulated environments
- PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
What you'll be doing
- Lead full lifecycle clinical trial projects including start-up, conduct, and close-out phases
- Serve as primary client contact, building relationships and providing strategic oversight
- Manage study timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Oversee cross-functional teams across clinical operations, labs, data management, and supply chain
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage scope changes and financial performance
Compensation$75,000–$112,500 base, plus variable annual bonus eligibility
