Role summary
Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest seeks a Chemist I to perform analytical testing on environmental samples using ion chromatography and HPLC instrumentation. What you'll be doing
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples using Ion Chromatography and HPLC following EPA protocols
- Prepare standards and reagents; prepare soil samples using DI LEACH TOT method
- Filter and load water samples onto instruments; review chromatograms and address QC failures
- Perform equipment calibrations and maintenance on analytical balances and pipettes
- Monitor sample backlog, schedule testing activities, and maintain accurate laboratory records
Compensation$18-$22 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
