Role summary

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to develop and execute strategic plans for assigned healthcare accounts, driving utilization of cardiovascular products across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience; or Master's degree with 4+ years; or Doctorate with 2+ years
3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
Knowledge of hospital committee structure, P&T processes, and CMS policies
Understanding of healthcare reimbursement, DRG systems, and payor dynamics
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams

What you'll be doing

Assess business environment and develop comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy
Serve as strategic lead engaging priority providers across inpatient and ambulatory care settings
Lead implementation initiatives enabling sustainable utilization across assigned health systems
Coordinate field teams and arrange compliant programs to promote cardiovascular products
Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and provide field intelligence to internal teams
