Role summary
Associate Quality Control position on the night shift (Tuesday-Friday, 10 PM–8 AM) at Amgen's Rhode Island facility. Provides analytical testing support in a GMP laboratory environment, executing quality control assays and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
What they're looking for
- High school diploma/GED plus 2 years quality experience, OR Associate's degree plus 6 months quality experience, OR Bachelor's degree
- 1–3 years experience in GMP analytical laboratory environment
- Experience executing analytical and biological testing per established methods
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks independently
- Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical capability, and written/verbal communication skills
- Understanding of GMP QC principles and biopharmaceutical processes
What you'll be doing
- Perform analytical testing on manufacturing and raw material samples using standard assays
- Generate complete and accurate laboratory documentation using electronic systems and notebooks
- Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation according to GMP guidelines
- Review, approve, and support troubleshooting of assays, documents, and quality records
- Alert management to quality, compliance, safety, and supply risks; support deviations and investigations
