Role summary
Ipsen seeks an Associate Director to generate customer, market, and product insights for the Neuroscience Business Unit. This role will execute primary research, competitive intelligence, and analytics to support brand strategy and decision-making across inline and pre-launch products.
What they're looking for
- Minimum 8+ years pharmaceutical or life sciences experience
- At least 3 years in-house or client-side data analytics, market research, or competitive intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into strategic business decisions
- Deep understanding of biopharmaceutical commercialization, brand management, and regulatory environments
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or MS in Business Analytics preferred
- Experience in Neuroscience, movement disorders, or migraine therapeutic areas a plus
What you'll be doing
- Define scope and manage budget for primary market research and competitive intelligence initiatives
- Execute analyses and present insights to leadership to support strategic brand decisions
- Lead cross-functional projects including research design, logistics, materials development, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain market intelligence repository as central knowledge source for Neuroscience team
- Collaborate with brand teams to identify risks, opportunities, and challenge key business assumptions
