Role summary
Development co-op position in orthopedic medical device design and engineering at a global MedTech company. Students will participate in multi-rotational assignments managing research and development tasks, including design control, compliance investigations, and technical documentation in an FDA-regulated environment.

- Active enrollment in B.S./B.E. engineering program (mechanical or biomedical preferred)
- GPA 3.2 or higher preferred

- Ability to work full-time throughout co-op session

- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving ability using quality and statistical tools
What you'll be doing
- Generate design control documentation including risk analyses and design failure mode analyses
- Participate in cross-functional project teams for orthopedic device development
- Investigate product complaints and document findings
- Produce technical reports and support design reviews
- May participate in cadaveric studies for implant validation
