Role summary
Merck's Future Talent Program offers a 10-12 week summer internship in Marketing Procurement within the Global Supplier Management Group. - Conduct detailed supplier and supply market analyses to provide insights to sourcing teams
- Build cost models and purchase price analyses for goods and services
- Monitor supplier performance, investigate root causes, assess and mitigate risks
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives including RFIs, RFPs, and e-auctions with structured analysis
- Prepare financial analysis and reporting on category spend, savings, and compliance metrics
