Role summary
This 10-12 week manufacturing internship with Merck's Elkton, Virginia facility offers exposure to biopharmaceutical and vaccine production across engineering disciplines. What you'll be doing
- Provide on-floor operational and technical support; collaborate with shop floor on vaccine manufacturing projects
- Conduct technical investigations, analyses, and recommend corrective and preventative actions
- Write, review, and improve equipment and process procedures
- Complete performance improvement projects targeting efficiency, yield, cost, and cycle time reduction
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting for daily operations; collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
