Role summary
A 10-12 week summer internship in Discovery Chemistry and Process Research within the R&D division. Interns will conduct synthetic chemistry research on pharmaceutical development projects, working alongside scientists in state-of-the-art laboratories across multiple U.S. locations.

- Currently enrolled sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing bachelor's degree in chemistry
- Currently enrolled graduate student pursuing master's or Ph.D. in chemistry
- Completed at least two years toward bachelor's degree by June 2027
- Available full-time for approximately 10-12 weeks, May-August 2027
- GPA of 3.0 or higher on 4.0 scale
- Prior research experience with standard experimental techniques and electronic laboratory notebooks
- Strong interest in organic chemistry and pharmaceutical applications
What you'll be doing
- Conduct organic synthesis research on drug discovery and development problems in laboratory settings
- Participate in reaction development, synthesis optimization, and high-throughput experimentation projects
- Maintain accurate electronic laboratory notebooks and follow safe laboratory practices
- Present research results in oral and written formats to departmental and project teams
- Contribute as integrated team member on multidisciplinary drug discovery projects
