Role summary

GE HealthCare seeks an Assistant Operational Controller to support Europe Zone financial operations, including US GAAP reporting, balance sheet integrity, internal controls, and non-commercial process management across multiple countries. The role partners with finance teams, operational groups, and audit functions to ensure accurate monthly and quarterly closing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Proven experience in accounting, controllership, audit, or finance roles
Experience in multinational organizations with operational accounting and legal entity controllership
Strong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles
Big Four or external audit firm background preferred
Multi-country accounting or controllership experience preferred

What you'll be doing

Support operational, technical, and non-commercial controllership activities across Europe Zone
Coordinate monthly and quarterly close procedures, reconciliations, and GAAP financial reporting
Manage legal entity activities including rationalization, ERP reduction, and cash flow coordination
Monitor internal controls, identify financial risks, and support Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance
Partner with statutory, tax, audit, and HR teams on compliance and process improvements
