Role summary
This role analyzes federal and state healthcare policies affecting Amgen's business, developing financial models and forecasts to quantify impacts on pricing, reimbursement, and patient access. The senior associate will monitor policy trends, conduct scenario analyses, and provide data-driven insights to cross-functional teams and senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
What they're looking for
- Master's degree, or Bachelor's with 2+ years policy/finance/consulting/analytics experience
- 2+ years analyzing federal and state biopharmaceutical policies and legislation
- Advanced Excel proficiency and complex financial modeling capabilities
- Knowledge of U.S. government pricing programs (ASP, AMP, Best Price, Medicaid, 340B)
- Strong written and oral communication skills for senior leadership audiences
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- Collaborative mindset in cross-functional, team-based environments
What you'll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain financial models and analytics assessing legislative and policy impacts
- Monitor emerging federal and state healthcare policy trends and quantify financial implications
