Role summary
Azenta seeks a Senior Accounts Receivable & Collections Analyst to manage customer portfolios, resolve complex past-due balances, and drive process improvements within the Sample Repository Services business. This role combines hands-on collections expertise with financial transformation initiatives across the invoice-to-cash function.

- Minimum 5 years progressive B2B collections or accounts receivable experience with complex portfolio ownership
- Demonstrated track record improving collections processes with measurable results on cash flow and dispute resolution
- Deep knowledge of invoice-to-cash workflows including billing, reconciliation, deductions, and cash application
- Enterprise ERP or receivables platform experience and advanced Excel skills for data analysis
- Strong customer communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities with cross-functional influence
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience
What you'll be doing
- Own collection activities for assigned B2B customer portfolio, prioritize accounts by aging and risk to improve cash flow
- Resolve complex payment disputes involving pricing, documentation, and billing accuracy; coordinate internal stakeholders
- Identify recurring payment barriers and partner with Commercial and Operations teams to implement preventive solutions
- Design and implement account segmentation, escalation procedures, and standard collections processes to reduce manual effort
- Develop cash forecasts and aging reports; present collection risks and improvement opportunities to Finance leadership
