Role summary
Undergraduate co-op position in clinical manufacturing at Amgen's Thousand Oaks facility. The Manufacturing Associate will support drug substance and drug product operations, execute improvement projects, and gain exposure to a dynamic clinical manufacturing environment serving global clinical trials.
What they're looking for
- Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's degree program with minimum 3.0 GPA
- At least one year of completed study prior to co-op start
- 18 years or older; authorized to work in United States
- Preferred: Engineering or Life Sciences degree concentration
- Preferred: Previous biology lab experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Analytical thinking and ability to work in cross-functional teams
What you'll be doing
- Execute improvement projects and problem-solving initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Conduct root cause analysis and data visualization to identify process optimization opportunities
- Perform production floor testing and coordinate with multiple teams and disciplines
- Apply continuous improvement principles to devise solutions and evaluate procedural improvements
- Support Drug Substance and Drug Product Technical Operations serving global clinical trials
Compensation$28.87 per hour
