Role summary

Amgen seeks a senior manager to serve as the IgG4-RD Thought Leader Liaison for the West region, managing relationships with physicians and key opinion leaders to support the Neuroimmunology Business Unit's commercial strategy in rare disease.

What they're looking for

  • Doctorate degree and 2+ years marketing or sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Customer-facing pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience required
  • Rheumatology and/or gastroenterology therapeutic area experience strongly preferred
  • Clinical experience in rare diseases or specialty biologics strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage thought leader relationships and KOL engagement strategies
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and strategic communication skills

What you'll be doing

  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians and thought leaders across Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Las Vegas territories
  • Develop and execute local peer-to-peer engagement strategies aligned with regional and national sales and marketing plans
  • Coordinate thought leader interactions across the organization to ensure consistent customer experience and brand messaging
  • Capture and synthesize physician insights to inform brand strategy, competitive intelligence, and market trend identification
  • Support speaker programs, training, and events while ensuring compliant execution and consistent messaging
