Role summary

Amgen seeks a senior manager to serve as a thought leader liaison for its IgG4-RD therapeutic program in the Northeast region. This customer-facing role focuses on building relationships with key opinion leaders, executing peer-to-peer strategies, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to support the Neuroimmunology Business Unit's commercial objectives.

What they're looking for

Doctorate degree with 2+ years marketing or sales experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
Customer-facing pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience in field sales, product marketing, or clinical roles
Experience in rheumatology and/or gastroenterology therapeutic areas strongly preferred
Demonstrated KOL leadership or thought leader engagement experience
Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and consolidate complex information for diverse audiences
Willingness to travel up to 80% including weekend conferences and overnight programs

What you'll be doing

Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders and key opinion leaders for current and future commercial activities
Create and execute local peer-to-peer strategies aligned with national and regional marketing and sales plans
Liaise between sales, marketing, medical affairs, and advocacy teams to address customer needs and ensure cohesive engagement
Capture and synthesize thought leader insights to inform brand strategy and competitive positioning
Coordinate thought leader involvement at national, regional, and state conference events and speaker programs
