Role summary

Technician II position in synthetic DNA synthesis and formulation at Integrated DNA Technologies in Coralville, Iowa. Responsible for synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, formulation, and packaging of DNA products following customer specifications. Weekend overnight shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00pm–6:30am) with shift differential.

Proficiency in PC software, particularly Microsoft Office
Ability to exert 20–50 lbs occasionally or 10–15 lbs frequently
Associate or bachelor's degree in related field preferred
12 months lab experience or life science work experience preferred

What you'll be doing

Perform synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, formulation, and packaging of synthetic DNA products
Use laboratory equipment for product processing, including maintenance and troubleshooting
Follow work instructions and make production decisions based on product type and specifications
Execute lab cleaning and decontamination protocols using Maintenance Connection software
