Role summary
Merck is hiring a Calibration Technician for its Durham, North Carolina manufacturing facility. - Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and wear respirator
- Associate degree in electrical or electronic instrumentation preferred
What you'll be doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and unplanned repairs on manufacturing equipment and control systems
- Execute calibration activities and maintain associated documentation in SAP and Procal systems
- Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools including meters, HART communicators, and pressure detectors
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with operations personnel and ensure schedule adherence
- Review and analyze calibration drift data, identify program improvements, and audit vendor calibration certificates
