Role summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Technical Sales Specialist for downstream bioproduction to support field sales across Germany, the Netherlands, and V4 countries. The 9-month fixed-term role combines technical expertise in bioprocess chromatography and purification workflows with customer engagement and territory management.

Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in bioproduction, bioprocessing, downstream processing, or chromatography workflows
Understanding of biopharmaceutical workflows and downstream purification across therapeutic modalities
Customer-facing or field sales experience in technical or scientific environment preferred
Strong technical and industry knowledge of bioprocess solutions

What you'll be doing

Support field sales activities across downstream bioproduction portfolio including chromatography, buffer outsourcing, and production chemicals
Partner with Account Managers to cover accounts across Germany, Netherlands, and assigned V4 countries
Engage with internal stakeholders including process development, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
Support customer evaluations through technical discussions, sample coordination, and workflow optimization
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce and represent company at customer meetings and industry events
