Danaher seeks a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to ensure availability and performance of cloud-native platforms and data/AI services. What they're looking for

5+ years of hands-on SRE, DevOps, or equivalent production operations experience
Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
Deep expertise in SRE principles including SLOs, error budgets, and blameless incident culture
Hands-on experience with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Splunk)
Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, and Python or Go
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team architecture decisions and mentor engineers in distributed systems

What you'll be doing

Establish and monitor Service Level Objectives and error budgets to drive reliability and cost-efficiency decisions
Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing for cloud-native applications
Identify and automate repetitive operational work to reduce toil across the production environment
Lead incident response, postmortems, and implement preventative measures based on root cause analysis
Partner with development teams to influence service design for operability and reliability from inception
