Role summary

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline
- Four or more years of professional software quality, quality systems, compliance, or audit experience
- Experience developing, implementing, or improving software quality processes and procedures
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, change control, and risk management
- Experience supporting regulated software products or compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FDA preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex requirements
What you'll be doing
- Guide software teams through Quality Management System processes, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Develop and improve software quality procedures, work instructions, and guidance documents
- Support audit and compliance readiness activities including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and FDA compliance
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, change assessments, and release-readiness activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and implement quality improvements
