Role summary
Senior Refrigeration Technician position at a cGMP medical device manufacturing facility responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing industrial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, lyophilizers, and related process equipment. Reports to Maintenance Supervisor; first shift, Monday-Friday.
What they're looking for
- Refrigerant CV 1&2 license
- 5+ years maintenance experience with process refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Certificate from vocational, trade school, or military training
- Computer literacy and CMMS software experience
- Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting
- Valid New Jersey driver's license
- PLC experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Repair and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment including chillers, freeze dryers, and HVAC systems
- Manage refrigerant inventory and comply with ozone depletion regulations
- Operate and maintain water for injection, pure steam, and compressed air systems
- Mentor other technicians and contractors on refrigeration-related tasks
- Complete preventative maintenance records and corrective work orders using proper documentation
Compensation$29.86 - $40.91 USD hourly
