Amgen seeks a Senior Manager to lead global scientific communications and engagement strategy for obesity and related conditions. This role develops and executes communication plans collaborating across medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial teams while overseeing scientific content creation, medical education programming, and performance metrics. The position reports to product and therapeutic area leadership to ensure evidence-based, compliant messaging.

Strong analytical and communication skills
Multi-channel scientific platforms and digital engagement experience
AI literacy and digital fluency; willingness to travel 10-20%

What you'll be doing

Lead development and implementation of global scientific communication and HCP engagement strategies aligned with product objectives
Develop strategic content briefs and oversee creation of scientific materials ensuring compliance and accuracy
Partner across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial to track metrics assessing content and channel impact
Manage external vendors and agencies; mentor scientific communications staff across geographies
Contribute to scientific programming at educational events, congresses, and digital platforms
