Role summary
Senior Facility Maintenance Technician position at a cGMP medical device manufacturing plant in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control systems for manufacturing and utility equipment. First shift, Monday-Friday role reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
What they're looking for
- Minimum 10 years facility equipment maintenance experience, preferably medical device or pharmaceutical
- Knowledge of WFI water, clean steam, hot water, and compressed air systems
- Troubleshooting expertise in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read PID drawings and electrical schematics
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving skills and written/verbal communication
- Willingness to participate in emergency on-call schedule and work flexible hours
What you'll be doing
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing process and facility equipment
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in compliance with cGMP and OSHA regulations
- Manage all maintenance documentation following Good Manufacturing Practices
- Provide on-call emergency technical support and expertise for equipment purchasing and implementation
- Support instrument and equipment SOP revisions and maintain assigned work areas
Compensation$29.86 - $40.91 USD hourly
