Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for cardiovascular sales across North Dakota and South Dakota. The role involves promoting Repatha to medical professionals, building clinical relationships, executing sales strategies, and managing territory accounts.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree plus 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years sales experience
- For Senior level: Bachelor's degree plus 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or equivalent with Associate's/high school diploma
- Three or more years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience preferred
- Product or hospital sales background in specialty areas such as cardiology or nephrology preferred
- Local market knowledge and established territory relationships advantageous
- Strong planning, communication, and relationship-building capabilities
What you'll be doing
- Deliver clinical product knowledge and communicate benefits of Repatha to healthcare professionals
- Implement branded sales messages and strategies to achieve territory sales targets
- Manage customer accounts including product access, reimbursement issues, and contract maintenance
- Develop territory plans with District Manager and analyze sales activity effectiveness
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous learning
