Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for its cardiovascular sales territory in the Toms River, New Jersey area. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience

- Three or more years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience preferred
- Product or hospital sales experience in cardiovascular, oncology, nephrology, or related specialties preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
- Proficiency with planning, organizing, and driving results
What you'll be doing
- Communicate clinical benefits and product knowledge to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
- Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, scheduled programs, and educational outreach
- Develop and manage customer accounts, customize interactions based on needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
- Analyze territory performance and sales effectiveness; develop plans with District Manager
- Share best practices and mentor colleagues as a senior representative
