Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for cardiovascular sales in the Hackensack, New Jersey territory. - Three or more years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry sales experience preferred
- Product or hospital sales experience in specialty areas such as cardiology, oncology, or nephrology preferred
- Local market knowledge and established healthcare professional relationships preferred
- Competencies in planning, business acumen, communication, results-driven execution, and relationship building
What you'll be doing
- Provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of cardiovascular products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
- Execute branded sales messaging, conduct educational programs, and achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
- Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and resolve reimbursement and access issues
- Analyze territory performance, provide feedback on marketing strategy, and develop territory plans with District Manager
- Share best practices with colleagues and champion patient impact throughout the sales cycle
