Role summary
Merck seeks a technical specialist to design and deploy AI-driven agents, data products, and automations supporting Development Sciences and Clinical Supply operations. The role combines data engineering, low-code platforms, and software development practices to build governed, production-grade intelligent systems.

- 2+ years data engineering, software development, automation, or related technical experience
- Hands-on proficiency with Python and SQL for data transformation and analysis

- Design, build, test, and operationalize governed agents and AI-enabled workflows using enterprise platforms
- Develop data pipelines, curated datasets, and semantic layers ensuring accessibility and governance alignment
- Create dashboards, reports, web applications, and automations enabling users to interact with data and insights
- Execute testing and evaluation of agent response quality, accuracy, and deployment readiness
- Apply disciplined development practices including version control, documentation, and reusable templates
