What you'll be doing
- Establish and lead diverse multifunctional teams across R&D, Commercial, Legal, Finance and Operations to execute transactions
- Synthesize third-party and internal data to develop business cases and identify transaction risks and opportunities
- Negotiate optimal deal structures with internal and external stakeholders from term sheet through closure
- Manage partner relationships and ensure AstraZeneca's competitive positioning throughout transaction phases
- Prepare deal propositions and present to governance bodies including Board of Directors for approval
