Role summary
Senior Tax Associate supporting finance and accounting operations across Middle East and Africa regions. Responsibilities include tax filing coordination, audit support, vendor payment processing, and compliance management for multiple countries, reporting to the Finance Manager within the MEA Finance hub.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; ACCA, CA, CPA, or MBA (finance) acceptable
- Minimum 3 years of finance or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of purchase-to-payable, statutory compliance, and financial reporting
- Technical proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Hyperion) and accounting practices
- Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of tax, internal controls, and audit processes
- General business acumen including applicable laws and regulations
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate timely tax filing information with external consultants for MEA countries covering WHT, VAT, and CIT
- Support annual external audit cycle by providing auditors with required documentation and information
- Research and resolve inquiries related to accounts payable and invoice tracking across MEA region
- Prepare periodic KPI reports for procurement-to-pay process and identify action items
- Manage vendor invoice payments and monthly business travel account reconciliation across MEA
